Mississauga man was deemed not guilty of attemped murder. The man allegedly tried to kill his wife with a knife. The jury found him not guilty even though his wife said her husband stabbed her numerous times. The man testified that her injuries were unintentional, his wife countered by saying that he stabbed her. She claims that she tried to stop him from killing himself with the knife. The man was also on trial for aggrevated assault on his 7 year old daughter, he says he had no memory. I guess these days that is good enough to be considered not guilty.
I am not sure how this man is not headed to jail. His arguments for the assaults were terrible. I stabbed her but it was not intentional and i do not remember. Are you kidding me that is the worst defense tactic i have ever heard, how could an honest jury believe that. The family should appeal and have this heard by a real jury.
