Convicted USA spy released

An Iranian-American was released today after being sentenced to 8 years for spying in Iran for Washington. She was released after an appeal reduced the sentence. Saleh Nikbakht one of the lawyers who defended Roxana Saberi released a statement explaining how Saberi, who has been held in an Iranian prison since January was released after not even serving one eight of her sentence. Saberi had lived in Iran since 2003, she worked as a journalist for the BBC. She was initially caught for purchasing a bottle of wine (illegal in Iran). They revoked her press card and then she was sent to prison for spying for Washington.

This is interesting because I would think the USA would have spies but i do not think they would be caught that often. Saberi was foolish to do something illegal to draw attention to herself. The USA should think before they hire spies.
